This notice explains how Villa Zeytin uses your personal information when you join Villa Zeytin’s North Cyprus Explorer email series.

Who is responsible for your information?

Villa Zeytin is responsible for the personal information used for the Explorer series. For privacy questions or requests, email bookings.zeytinvilla@gmail.com.

What we collect

We collect your first name, email address, optional intended travel timeframe, signup source, campaign information, consent wording and version, and the dates on which you subscribed, confirmed or unsubscribed.

Why we use it

We use this information to send the free North Cyprus Explorer guides, local travel ideas, Villa Zeytin news and occasional direct-booking offers. We also use basic source information to understand which Villa Zeytin pages or campaigns generate signups.

Our lawful basis

We rely on your consent. The signup box is not pre-ticked, and we ask you to confirm your email address before marketing begins. You may withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any Explorer email or by contacting us.

Where the information is held

The subscriber list is held in Villa Zeytin’s password-protected Google account and emails are sent using Google’s Gmail and Apps Script services. Google may process information outside the United Kingdom under its applicable data-protection safeguards.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent the Explorer mailing list. Information is processed by Google as our technology provider and may be disclosed where required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep confirmed subscriber details while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we retain the email address and opt-out record in a suppression list so that we do not accidentally contact you again. Unconfirmed signup records are removed after 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to its use. You may withdraw consent at any time. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when the Explorer service or the law changes. The latest version will appear on this page with its revision date.
